Mersin’e bağlı Çamlıyayla ilçesi, Haziran ayı boyunca aşırı sıcaklıkların etkisi altında kalmıştı. Kent ve ilçelerinde yaşayanlar, bunaltıcı havadan şikayet ederken, tarım ve doğal yaşam da kuraklık riskiyle karşı karşıya kalmıştı. Ancak bugün bölgede başlayan sağanak yağışlar, bu duruma bir nebze olsun çare oldu.

Sağanak yağışların devam edip etmeyeceği konusunda meteoroloji yetkilileri, bölgede mevsim normallerine uygun yağışların devam edeceğini ve bu durumun tarımsal faaliyetler üzerinde olumlu bir etki yaratacağını öngördüklerini belirtti.
