Adana Büyükşehir Belediye Meclisi, Mayıs ayı oturumunun üçüncü gününde gündem maddeleri görüşülürken Adana’da “Yılmaz Güney Evi / Müzesi” yapılmasına ilişkin madde mecliste tartışmalara yol açtı. Cumhur İttifakı üyeleri Yılmaz Güney’in geçmişine atıfla teklife karşı çıkarken, CHP’li üyeler sanat yönünün öne çıkarılması gerektiğini savundu. Madde oy çokluğu sağlanamayınca yeniden komisyona gönderildi.
